The Jaguar E-Type Metalshaping Olympics!

Lately it’s been 24×7 around here…  You can always tell when things get REALLY busy here, because the blogging stops!

So far this year we have been running at full-throttle, always trying to reach the impossible dream – “getting caught up” – which I say all the time, but I don’t even know what that means really…

We have been working on two major projects – restoring another aluminum racing bonnet, and a VERY early 1961 Fixed-Head Coupe.  I actually have about 5 half-finished blogs on that car, and I will get to them soon enough – but writing the stories and captions takes lots of time.

SO – I came up with this latest blogging “get out of jail” idea yesterday…  We were watching the Olympics (which has been on in the shop for 2 weeks now), when I told Brent, “Someone should give ME a medal for THIS!” – I tend to say stuff like that in the shop – I’m so modest…

So let’s have a little fun in honor of the Olympics!  The next three blogs are “photo-only” stories about pieces that I have built over the past few weeks that, well, I am awarding myself medals for.  These panels are so great, that I think the photos will speak for themselves.  Enjoy!
