The gears inside are in great condition – and BIG! This looks like the inside of the transmission on my bulldozer! (Yes – I have my own bulldozer – mostly so I can say, “I have my own bulldozer.” It is a 1956 John Deere 420C – I bought it on a whim a few years ago because my grandfather was a bulldozer mechanic and I wanted to prove to myself that there was nothing I couldn’t fix – it needed the final drives rebuilt. If you think, like me, that it would be cool to own your own antique bulldozer someday to mess around with – just keep thinking that – actually having one is basically just LOTS OF WORK!
