This bonnet had been painted with a paint product\/process that the owner called &#8220;single stage&#8221; &#8211; it was the hardest paint I have ever dealt with in my life! We&#8217;ll seamlessly repair this and then weld a reinforcing plate on the backside &#8211; otherwise it will just tear again.
