But while some stuff does have to sit outside, I have a real issue with throwing away any E-Type panels.  I just pulled this bonnet apart about 3 weeks ago to rob the original hardware out of it &#8211;  the bolts, ovale and spring washers were restored and went into the &#8217;61 welded-louver bonnet we just built.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><br style=\"clear: both\" \/><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a a friend.  This place is crazy! &#8211; about 40 E-Type projects under one roof &#8211; and parts GALORE!  I grew up around shops filled with E-Types &#8211; we parted them out, and so mountains of E-Type parts are something I&#8217;m used to. Right after this photo was taken, we signed the contract to build the new shop.  The fiberglass body shell in the ceiling is an original Devin &#8220;widebody&#8221;.  In August of 1990 (I think&#8230;), I met Bill Devin in the pits at a vintage race at Road Atlanta &#8211; I was there wrenching for Bill Terry.  He said he believes it is the largest Devin shell made &#8211; he called it an &#8220;X&#8221; body&#8230;  I&#8217;ve had that since I was 19 &#8211; someday I&#8217;ll get it assembled.  I&#8217;m thinking tube frame, E-Type suspension, 1970 500 cubic-inch Cadillac, and an M-22 Muncie &#8211; I have all that stuff.  Although, I may go with a nailhead Buick just to keep things dated to the early 60&#8217;s.
