Recently I ran across a couple of things that were too good not to share with you…<\/p>\n

The first was a set of photos that were texted to me from a gentleman in Florida of a couple of “rough” bonnets…\u00a0 I can say without a doubt that thee two bonnets are THE WORST I have ever seen!\u00a0 Actually, while it is a crying shame to see E-Types end up this way, the photos are kind of cool – with a perfect depiction of the tropical environment that cause this destruction!\u00a0 Check out the hanging moss, the ferns, and even the citrus tress in the background!<\/p>\n

The second was a Jag that I saw up at the shipper in Elizabeth, NJ when I went up there to drop off the Series 2 FHC that we sold this past Fall.\u00a0 I could see that it was a Jag of some kind, but didn’t put alot of thought into it.\u00a0 I asked the guy there who helped me unload, “What is that,\u00a0 a Mark V or something?…”<\/p>\n

“No idea – I hate Jags…”<\/p>\n

And as I could see he didn’t care if I got up close and took a few photos, I did wander over with him while making small talk…\u00a0 And I actually said right out loud as I got closer – “Oh My God, it’s a 150!…”<\/p>\n

Yes – an XK-150 Drophead – that was being held together SOLELY by the driveshaft – and YES – the solid frame was COMPLETELY rusted in half!<\/p>\n

Now THAT’S RUST!!!!<\/p>\n
